I dunno if life is worth living without it.

Our entire economy and food supply chain collapse almost instantly. There will be mass famine and horrible violence as most people run out of food within days. We will experience mass death every summer and winter as well without heat and AC. I lose my primary hobby too. The disease outbreaks will be horrible.

Oh and nuclear plants are so fucked too. We lose thousands or tens of thousands to plane crashes when all of em lose navigation equipment and comms or outright lose power and drop.

Wars over food will increase too. When you no longer have modern equipment and chemicals and methods of transportionyou need so much more quality farmland to feed the same amount of people.

Not really. Modern living is a diversion from learning wilderness survival. You'd have to go out of your way for that, and being stuck in this scenario, you're just going to die a slow, miserable death if someone doesn't shoot you first.

In a sense, those out in the sticks have it better. Utilities would be a blow, sure, but otherwise they're already hunters, have wells, firearms, few neighbors, and environmental resources. I would be surrounded by people who have no fucking idea what to do, and martial law being held on any place with food.

Its not that. I live in a rural area and do a lot of food preservation by canning and vacuum sealing. The canned goods would be fine, but the freezers would go and all the frozen food would go bad. We have a well, but its pumped electrically, so no water.

I mostly cook on a live fire outside anyway, so I could eat, but Id have literally fucking nothing else to do. My job would be gone so Id have no money, I cant drive because I was born legally blind, so the alternative is basically just being incredibly bored and eating until I run out of food, which would only prolog the inevitable.

Our infrastructure (and high population) was developed with a dependency on electricity. Wed all be so fucked. Were so much less equipped than people at nearly any point in human history to handle a world without electricity. After a high percentage of Earths population dies off we might be able to achieve some stability.
