John, Paul, George and Ringo will each be the subject of a different upcoming feature film.
Director Sam Mendes plans to make four separate movies, one from each Beatles members point of view. They will intersect to tell the astonishing story of the greatest band in history, leading up to their 1970 breakup, according to a press release. Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the families of the late John Lennon and George Harrison have granted full life story and music rights for the scripted films.
Im honored to be telling the story of the greatest rock band of all time, and excited to challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies, Mendes, the Oscar-nominated filmmaker of American Beauty, war drama 1917 and James Bond films Skyfall and Spectre, said in a statement.

The last thing I'm interested in is a bunch of biopics from each individual band member unless it was a one-person band and that band member had multiple personalities

Interesting concept, but it would be hilarious if it gets cut short because the first movie bombs and/or gets negative reviews. Those things tend to kill Cinematic uinverses.

I hope the Ringo one outperforms the shit out of the Lennon one

They're all coming out the same year so I think they'll avoid that at least.

Oh, smart move then. Plus I think it will do well financially because everyone knows who the Beatles are. I guess the only thing up in the air is the reception, which will most likely be positive but this isn't the first time I was wrong about that.

I think if they take each movie as its own narrative and protagonist for a specific story told within their lives and not just a 'this is meant to sum up their entire lives' it could end up being interesting.

It'd be hilarious if they somehow mimicked the MCU formula - lead off with the B-List characters (Ringo = Iron Man, George = Cap), have them become smash hits and the new face of the band, and by the time they got around to the formerly most-popular characters (John = X-Men, Paul = F4), everybody's too burnt out on the BCU to care.

It will probably tell their life story, not just their time in the band. So only certain sections will be very similar
