There are about 8 instances now where I think about stuff without searching for it on anything or speaking it out loud like buying siracha sauce then it show me stuff about it on Tiktok. Tiktok is great but I don't think is coincidence, they developed advanced tech to read our minds

That's artificial intelligence obvious. A huge nueralnet that is optimized to predict your behavior given a lot of inputs, and other reference points.

I'm gonna test this. I'm gonna think about hot, sexy Latinas in bathing suits, and see if this what shows in my FYP feed.

Think about things you would not normally think about. Don't tell anyone, don't type them down anywhere. Use a pen and paper. Make sure your phone is not near you. Then you'll see how good it's mind reading is.

I havent verbally said anything about siracha in years and haven't typed about it in anything in like 3 years and it was here saying how great the sauce is

It's definitely not just tiktok, happens on everything you do with your phone. I dont really notice it while using a pc though.

A few months ago I had my phone in my pocket, I was by myself so obviously not talking. I pick up an object and then set it down. ((I know I can always look at the back but)) I type in "ingredients of" and it literally auto recommends the object I was looking at, down to the specific brand.

I think in 10 years we will come to learn that technology was a lot more capable than the public was lead to believe. I mean hell, the internet's been around since the 60s

Something happened last year.
My mother had ended her shift. On her way to her car, she met a colleague that told her that they had just got a new colleague, lets call him Mark A.
Mother said "Mark A? I went to school with him."
Then she drove home.
Ar home, she opened Facebook which instantly popped up a message saying "We think you should add Mark A as a friend".

why are people still acting like this is new and surprising? it isn't. yes, your devices are always listening. yes, you are being marketed to 24/7. yes, there is an algorithm that knows everything about you and can even predict your future interests. yes, tiktok reads EVERY search and EVERY message on EVERY part of your device, including your texts AND your calls that you thought were private and yes, you gave it permission to do so when you downloaded it and didn't read the terms of service.

tiktok is a data harvesting tool unlike any seen before in the world. every single thing about it is designed with the intention of keeping you swiping, keeping it installed on as many devices as possible for as long as possible so it can harvest as much data as possible. look into ByteDance Ltd. the app isn't somebody's friendly project to help you and your friends and internet strangers share funny clips back and forth. it was deliberately designed to maximize data harvesting potential.

This is what happens when your apps are allowed access to all the information that can gleaned from your devices. The algorithm is trained to predict what you will see, and you are trained to seek what the algorithm predicts.

It's possible that you've seen a lot of other Sriracha advertisements lately, but haven't noticed them. They might have made you want it, and now that you're thinking of it you actually noticed the ad.
