Ben being flavor confirmed is a wrench, but that would rely on a perfect godfather which is hard to play around, or some weird combination of Lea actually being scum and claiming information they received from other means (kidnap/janitor kirby?) But kirby was pretty anti-red day 2 until near the end, which he would not have been if he had information, and if he wasn't the one with information then where could a hypothetical scum Lea have figured out Lea's role?

@Leafeon13N do you have a "renamed role" like many of us in addition to the role that describes your ability? Or do you just have the role describing your ability? Because the only way Lea can fake knowing your flavor is if Corrik Role Cop'd you n1 and your renamed role result was so specific you could only have been Dr. Nick.

Barring that Lea is rock solid, which makes Ben as rock solid as an inno scan can be.

There's like only two doctor characters in Simpsons that matter, so scum rolecop would already have a 50/50 shot

But this requires a lot of hoops to be honest.

This now feels like Isquen 2.0 (no offense Isquen) where Sbell did it to himself but the towny outrage is genuine. Im open to not mindlessly marching forward towards this outcome and considering other options.

I know with certainty that I am not, I can't say the same for you.

For me cleared is:
Myself
JC (he will be anyways, when he ends day early)
Lea (by virtue of confirming reds role before he said it)
Red (by virtue of being his role, as confirmed by Lea)
Ulti (inno scan and 3x no move tracks)
Ben (flavor inno scan)

So that leaves Death, You, Wallz, Chang.

You and death are the only two unscanned vanilla on that list, so for me, it's lynch one of you and hope red shoots the other. Obviously red has to consider me as an option, he doesn't have the luxury of knowing my role the same way I do, but I just have to hope he makes the right choice. If not I'll be sure to remind him in the future of that time he killed me when I was town, so at least I've got that going for me.

But if 2 of you die (today/tonight) and 1 is scum that only leaves two on the list for tomorrow with hopefully another 1/2 chance of finding what should be the last scum.

I like our chances, but from my perspective that is also dependent on not wasting a kill on me, which I'm aware is a possible outcome. I'd like to believe that won't happen because I've tried my best even when my reads have been wrong.

Presumably if Corrik had scanned me he would have received "FD is Disappointment" rather than "FD is Disappointment (Vanilla)" right? Or do we think he gets the whole thing?

But with or without the parenthesis a result of "Red is Unreliable Doctor" or "Quack Surgeon" or "Sketchy Physician" or something along those lines would narrow that field down to just Nick pretty damn quick.

But then Lea would have had to use that, and have gone through the "Who should I scan today" charade on day 2 knowing that she could only pretend to scan Red.

It would be a fucking hero play as scum, but it feels genuine rather than false.

I would not exclude the possibility of Corrik getting the full role.

Though if you are right, then Lea looks better again for killing Ctes, doesnt she? Vanillizer is a lot more useful than half-rolecop.

And I know I am saying this while Lea's day1-master-bus-gambit is still a recent event. I just dont think she can be scum here.

She would have to be left alive until day 6 to even be an option anyways. If she's town that does give scum the option of making her seem sus for not dying, but then she could just snipe them with her day scan and in theory thats GG.

The point being that while it's an interesting thought experiment it won't be relevant unless there is a living Lea day 6.

I know this crappy timing if he left for the day but Id definitely lynch death. If death is town just lynch sbell tomorrow. But I dont think sbell could convincingly fake this anger as scum (even if he should just be angry at himself for being in this situation)

I literally advocated for lynching Corrik instead of Isquen this game. I think its fair to consider going the death route instead.

the best reason people are town clearing him, knowing the proper format to claim vanilla, is a reason death himself expressed as being obvious scum would have access to that. Theres seemingly nothing else in his favor.

Just based on what others have said about a godfather needing to be resistant to both types of town scans.

Town seems to think scum would not have been informed of the vanilla format and that has always been false thinking.

my town credit is tied to the effort i've put in. I can't help it that I didn't find scum day 1, or that isquen imploded day 2 or that corrik was guilty scanned day 3. I've still made an effort to locate information and analyze it throughout, but now how I feel about the remaining POE will depend on what flips.

What effort. You say it, we read back, you have no solve at all.

If i had to guess,one of sbell/ben, one of death/fd.

Ben basically skating by the whole day on the scan doesn't give me much confidence in him either.

Not having the game solved isn't the same as not trying to solve the game. And as far as what effort, i've gone through the previous 6 topics multiple times looking for different ways to interpret things or find clues made by either the people i'm suspicious of or the people who have died to figure out why they specifically were night killed. But you don't have to appreciate my effort for it to be effort just the same. Obviously I wish that I'd found something more concrete or something that directly led to a scum lynch, but it wasn't for lack of trying.

There's a reason Ben went from my #1 vanilla suspect to the bottom of my vanilla suspects. Scans *are* still important and my assumption at this point is that he's NOT gf. Otherwise with no scan I would be pushing for him today instead.

I notice something so I point it out. And regarding the flavor split all you had to do was say fucking no and i'd mark it off and move on, YOU kept me from moving on by withholding information that we could all agree was harmless/pointless. Instead I had to wait for Lea to answer it for me days later
