It's for when they're used as ads. Since most people skip after a few seconds, they use those first few seconds to quickly promote the movie.

It's for YouTube ads where you can skip if you watch 5 seconds of the ad first. They try and cram in enough in the 5 seconds to get you to stay to watch the rest.

Josh Hartnett and Hugh Grant have absolutely incredible chemistry. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's one of the best movies ever, but it is really good.
