have not played 6 in over 15 years and i forgot how rough the early game is as i had forgot you dont get stat gains beyond HP (and MP for terra and celes) untill you get espers

would u say pixel remaster is worth re-buying the game again? i played the crap out of the GBA version back then. i loved the split scenarios thing man

yeah the early game is moderately difficulty but becomes a cakewalk when edgar joins. by the time edgar falls off, your dudes are starting to get strong with Esper bonuses and Magic

i do recomend it and it IS on sale (i wish i could have gotten other remasters but could not afford the rest)

also massive missed opportunity no achievement for suplexing the ghost train

OH here is a question why doesnt cyan get poisoned we see every one else dies insantly they are not drinking water or anything so the fumes are enough to kill

even if he and the other guy where up to high they go down into the castle

at the opera house section always hated this part

1 not a fan of the opera

2 i hate the boss fight with ultros at this part its a pain in the ass

Also it's kind of a contrived coincidence that Celes just happens to look just like Maria and is also capable of performing opera perfectly

how they did the visuals of the scene THIS THIS is what we would want out of a FF6 remake SE that visual style for the entire game

then just expand on the character arcs (example when terra is in her esper coma give her a playable dream sequence section to explore her past a bit more show her life before the slave crown and such)

and you could make a good FF game that does not cost you more than most movies cost to produce

Live a Live was a great remake, and should be the template SE uses in the future. Dont change the core, fix up the dialogue, make it look and sound great, add some QoL stuff.

I dont trust them to write any good new material. Almost all of the extra story in FF7R really felt off, outside of the Jessie mission. That whole thing with finding out there was a lab under Seventh Heaven was really dumb and went nowhere.

Celes's voice actress handled that part really cleverly. She sings it competently, but obviously not at the level of an opera singer.

You really trust SE to write a good story?

Anything good they have made was created by people who have hVe left the company, or was a remake of something written by those people

Just look at any of the non-original FF7 stuff in Ff7R if you wanna see how they cant match whats been done before.

they have also done octopath traveler which was well written

really its just nomura and his stooges that cant write

SE has TONS of stupid ppl making stupid choices but writing wise they are ok to good most of the time

I'm playing FF6 Pixel Remaster for the first time on Steam but using the original audio. I didn't realize it would have still used the PR audio for the opera scene or I'd have replaced the English dub with the Italian mod that I saw before.

just got to one of my fave scenes in the game where terra shames ultros into letting relm paint his picture
