Ah, but you see, that was a rhetorical device. What Ctes claimed didn't matter so much as the fact it struck me as really weird he hadn't claimed in that situation. I got confirmation when he didn't acknowledge me even to say no. It made me picture scum trying to ride out the clock, so I stabbed him. He thought I was bluffing. At two minutes of course there would be no time to rationally consider most claims, but when Ctes isn't around at deadline all the other players should be asking "Where's Ctes?"

You being a good scummate, gave ctes a bump and set, hoping hed get the wink wink and spike. He did not show up in the final two minutes despite being around just 90 seconds before you prompted a claim. So you were forced to follow through on your threat to move your vote, and you did.

Ctes was around with 3.5 minutes left to deadline. There was no reason to ask wheres ctes, he was around. As a scummate someone would have every reason to think hey, hes here with less than 5 minutes to go, why wouldnt he post again. And then he didnt.

This is not damning evidence but I lean scum on Lea, yeah.

The closest thing ulti said was he thought it made sense I picked him to neighbor rather than lynch him.

also, ulti was very obvious about wanting to be targeted regardless of alignment. He had made a conscious effort so I dont find it weird that he didnt directly ask. I assume he immediately gave himself credit for drawing the target.

I mean you named every condition for why players wouldn't care where Ctes was at that time. The only piece you're missing is that the Corrik lynch stank like rotten eggs.

You even pointed out that there were only two minutes left when you asked Ctes to claim. Rationally, there was no time for Ctes to process your words and even put out a claim. This feels a lot like you're trying to shove all the blocks into the square hole. Your train of thought for voting Ctes very much feels fabricated and like you're retroactively trying to justify it.

While true, I just think people would be more effective to think of me as more than just a mad butcher of teammates. I prefer winning fast. I like getting mislynches. Bussing is for situations like, "Chris doesn't want to play and wants to be bussed" or "this set up is mathematically unwinnable for this scum team" or "Sorry (redacted) I assume your lynch is inevitable". I hate not having scum powers, the EV of bussing is way lower than having a one use power sap. Because, and this is the critical part - if I bus, I damn well be getting all the egotistical credit for starting the bus. While yes, my snipe was extremely badass, I know JC, Chang et all deserve more of the credit for actually finding Ctes. Bussing without gaining maximum town cred is just a dead teammate. And besides, I'm a drama queen, a large ham....mmmm....large ham....

I'm not going to claim it's possible for anyone to understand me, special little snowflake that I am, but you have to consider 1) I thought Ulti was town and Corrik was ???, and 2) Isquen got the barest and briefest possible pass for being a dull at the time lynch attempt.

Red's most noticable thing is confidence about roles not being in the game and his claim which I'm honestly not sure wasn't simply done to get people to shut up. He seems to have attempted to solve although he somewhat stopped after getting a large poe. Nothing I feel clears him but I'm less interested in going after him that the others.

This is pretty defensive towards Red. Maybe he felt he slipped when he got called out for thinking Red's claim was towny and made up that bit about writing his paragraph in the wrong order to completely change the meaning.

Might I remind you Ctes's role was simply Vanillaizer. No extra bells and whistles. This might also explain why he never gave two hoots about your defense of FD and Lopen (the latter of who did have extra bells and whistles to his otherwise Vanilla role).

It's metagaming, but we don't have enough info to say one way or the other that scum are aware that standard roles have alternative names. In fact, Ctes' flip leans more on the side of scum not actually knowing about this quirk.

There's no way scum death claims a role that Sultan hasn't written up for him. Scum also get an example town vanilla PM from the start
