Ive been having a kind of shitty/lonely week. But today when I got to work, this lady in another department that comes into my office to talk to me sometimes came in and asked if I wanted to come to her birthday party. I think I overly eagerly said yes haha. Its not until May and its her 21st birthday so I might actually be too old to go ragers are way behind me these days

and just ten minutes ago another coworker invited me to a party this weekend - Valentines Day themed.

Does this mean I have work friends? How do I upgrade to real friends?

^no just associates. And if you're in a Social mood, why not? You don't have to stay if you don't want to. And if you're single you just might meet someone. Same thing kinda happened to me awhile ago, my Brother invited me out for my Bday, I didn't feel like going but reluctantly I did. I wound up meeting (and ****ing later) a very pretty chick.

When it comes to upgrading work friends... I'm not so sure, but maybe your relationship can "level up" enough for them to be "real friends". Maybe the parties will help with that if you talk to 'em!
