Joel lost because of bad writing. Everything we know about the character got thrown out of the window so the Abby could murder him.

Batman normally have crazy plot armor but seemingly Harley has that now.

So Batman takes out Abby, Joel who isn't a fool takes out Harley.

Abby's strong AF, a trained soldier, and at the prime of her life.

Joel's a "survivor", former smuggler, and who knows what else, and well into his middle-age.

on paper, she wins.
