-Hang out where you died forever.
-Wait for someone to come in the area
-Do spooky stuff like make noises, mess with lights and open and close doors.

And thats it.

It seems like a wasted afterlife to me, but more power to them I guess.

I mean, when you are without a physical body and bound to a place, you have to enjoy the little things.

If a ghost could actually kill someone: couldnt they come back as a ghost and haunt the original ghost? Can ghosts haunt ghosts?

If someone was hanging out in your favorite spot like you dont even exist youd throw a fit too

Nah, they have a natural talent in abruptly getting out of relationships the moment it's no longer working for them.

I mean, it's not supposed to be a pleasant experience.

I think it's pretty much because the ghost doesn't realize they're dead and they're just existing like they would when they were alive, but it's like alzheimer's and you also don't realize that you're not doing other things you used to do, like leaving the house or eating or using the restroom, etc. and you see people invading your home, so you do whatever you can to try getting rid of them.

Yeah when my house is broken into I usually make weird groaning noises, turn the lights on and off and open and close doors.

no you see the ghost is screaming and yelling and throwing stuff, but in the world of the living we just see a small gust of wind or hear a faint noise or see something slightly strange or feel a slight chill

That would be a deterrent from them killing people lol. Although if ghosts could kill, the ghost busters would have to be established to fight them. We can't have ghosts killing people!

I don't believe in ghosts but the typical idea is they aren't hanging around on purpose. They can't move on for some reason or other. And they may or may not even realize they are dead

it would explain why their behavior is so limited and simplistic. like that mouse just discovered what a light switch's wire is for and thinks it's the coolest fucking thing ever, let it be, and then the squirrel found out how to make a room colder by blocking off the other vents. you should be proud.

Ghosts can't see me, so I'm effectively haunting them. They're just seeing me turn lights on/off, move stuff around and leaving behind my ectoplasm after a good moan session. This eventually makes them leave the house. I'm a rl ghost buster
