So we're expecting the FEH Channel for CYL tomorrow, which is coincidentally my birthday, so I'm hoping the stars will align and they'll do something I like with Bernadetta and Felix. Honestly, though, I could see myself being interested in all of the options, depending on what they do (though Alfonse and Robin would have to be something really special for me). I'm always a little worried about art, but they usually bring out the heavy hitters, so... fingers crossed. You know, unless they're angry about us not voting for Engage characters. You saw what they did to Tiki.

Thanks! I haven't had a lot of time to digest all of the CYL stuff yet, but I will say that I like how Bernadetta looks. I'm kinda ambivalent about the rest of the designs, but everyone's art at least seems strong (kinda surprised they let lack, i.e. Hot Springs Camilla's artist, do Felix, though). I'm not going to even try to figure out everyone's skills yet, either, which of course is the real selling point.

I will at least say that I saw that Bernadetta had a brave attack, initially had the bright idea of using my Attuned Micaiah to give her Far Trace Echo for some extra damage, but then remembered that she has canto in her weapon and now I'm going to feel wasteful if I give it to her. I'll have to wait for some theorycrafting.

Also, this is probably the first time in FEH history that I actually have a decent amount of orbs going into CYL (over 450 at the moment, though I'd have over 550 if I hadn't wasted orbs trying to pull on the double mythic banner and one of the revivals), so I might actually get more than one character this time. I usually seem to have abysmal luck every time this rolls around and I'm lucky to get even one focus unit on the way to the spark, but hopefully this one's different. Not sure if I'll snipe for Bernadetta, go for everyone, or some mixture of the four just yet.

lack also did the art for Brave Dimitri. I'm not sure what happened with Hot Springs Camilla, but their art since then has been better.

That's true with Dimitri, who's evidently their next most recent work in FEH after this new Felix, and that was four years ago. I was going to say that I also wasn't a fan of many of their other characters (Nowi has a bulbous alien head, Kaze looks squat, etc.), but they're all much older than Dimitri. I do think Brave Felix looks solid (probably my least favorite of this bunch, but not outright embarrassing), so it does seem like they've improved over the years (or at least took their FEH work more seriously).

It's a lot of text to digest, but I'm happy Alfonse and a free Panette. The art looks fine to me, but I think Bernie has my favorite look. I don't have a ton of orbs, so I'll see what happens

That's really lucky for that amount, congrats. Do you plan on keeping her kit as is? I haven't really used her yet, but I'm sort of interested in merging her (pulled three copies so far from 81 pulls, though I could get two more from the spark/free pulls if I wanted). I'm waiting on the duel sim to update before putting any real thought into potentially tweaking anything, but I can really only imagine switching out Prime, if anything. I also forgot until today that she can't use an attuned skill with her prf C, so that's a bit of a downer.

Alfonse was the one I was looking forward to most. I used the spark and free pick on him and Felix. They've both been fun to use. Felix's extra actions are pretty nuts.

Robin's outfit feels lazy, but she's pretty decent support. I think I'd rather have pulled Bernie, but I'll probably end up spending my remaining orbs on the mythic banner for Ikes.

I got Nah, Lys, B!Edel, A!Fir, and Felix was my 41st summon (not the one I was targetting) and August was my 43rd summon. At least from what I can remember, I tend to get at least one CYL unit in 40 summons, so this is not great. Lys, Felix, Fir do make it not so bad. I think I will spark on the other Felix because he is just so stupid and trivializes AR

It usually doesn't take that long after a demote's debut for them to show up, but Hayato somehow has avoided me for this long. Of course, I only want him for the dragonweed

Saved up 150 FEWER orbs than the past(I wanted Arcane Nastrond, sue me), yet managed 4 more 5* units than the past two CYL Banners. Plus the highest of a single unit(including spark) obtained(5 Alfonse). Good banner.

I lied, Felix is the clear CYL winner. I think he's the first unit that I Summoner Supported the same day I got him. If I'm not mistaken, he can move up to 4x/turn with Galeforce and that is just insane, AND they thought it would be totally balanced to give him double slaying

Also, is the mass duel simulator wrong? Y!Nephenee is supposed to charge her special before she attacks and fire off two specials in one combat assuming faster Spd and no counterattack, right? But in the duel forecast, it only shows her firing off one special

Looking forward to seeing what's on the Legendary banner. May or may not finish up my last spark on the Brave banner (127/160).

And the irony of there being a Brave VG... which means I don't have my newest Bernie up for a week >_>

Byleth is not likely to get a good refine. Attunded Eirika and Brave Bernadetta show that Intelligent Systems overrates the power of Vantage. Brave Female Byleth is a Vantage style unit so I would expect a rather tame refine.

If you like female Byleth, that's great, go for it. But, gambling on her getting a good refine is a bad bet.

N!Camilla was strong for a while and carried me in AR. W!Dimitri can still be a threat

If Byleth is the only one you're missing, then go for it. I don't feel confident betting on her refinement either.
