Why the fuck are you quitting eating the greatest thing ever in meat?

If you really want to start eating like a Rabbit then you better get the supplements in as you body needs the iron, vitamins, carbohydrates and protein that you get from meat.

Look at this for glorious site:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcTTKXmvnaQ

This carnivore could gorge himself in there.

No you will need supplements.

Your body needs things like Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, Zinc and Omega-3 to stay healthy.

Go and Google/Yahoo Vegetarian/vegan supplements and see for yourself.

Tonight for dinner I will be having a nice meat sausage and french fries.

why should i? i dont think i should, i just do. it's unnecessary, and i feel bad about it, so might as well accommodate my conscience. ethically sourced meat is primo dinero, and that still doesnt sit right with me, so it's more prudent for me to just switch it up

I was a vegetarian for 10 years. I recommend Quorn chicken nuggets if you can find them. They're so good that I still eat them after having gone back to being an omnivore.

They're made from an edible type of mold, btw. I didn't even know this when I started eating them, thought it was soy or something.

Daring foods chicken

You've proven yourself to be an insincere fearmonger and a supporter of an environmentally unsustainable food source: beef. And your cited sources are wildly inaccurate. You can do a quick Google search and find several more credible sources that counter those. The closest actual problem would be with B12, which would only be a problem if you're a vegan, and TC says he's going vegetarian which still allows for eggs and dairy. Even if you're full vegan, seaweed and other plants can provide B12 so...yeah, enjoy destroying yourself and the planet because you love beef more than people or the environment ( >_>) Again, be better

I see a poor little vegan cant accept the truth that a Vegan/Vegetarian diet is bad.

Lets point some things out if we all went Vegan/Vegetarian.

  • Look at all the extra farmland that would be needed if everybody ditched meat and went Vegetarian/Vegan.
  • Look at how much more water would be need to irragate those new fields. Much more than the meat industry could ever use.
  • Look at how much more pesticides and fertilizers would be needed to keep these crops free from pests. Pesticides and fertilizers that would pollute the air and get into the water table.
  • Look at how much more pollutants are being pumped into the atmosphere by all the extra tractors and Combine Harvesters that would be needed on those new fields.
  • Look at all the extra Diesel pollutants being pumped into the atmosphere by the extra trucks needed to deliver all those fruit and veg to the factories or shops.
  • Have you ever seen a process salad being made? Look at how much water is being used by those factories to clean and chop those friuts and veg and it will be even more if everyone was vegetarian or Vegan.
  • Look at how much plastic is used in the friut and vegetable industry to package those processed salads. I have even seen indivudual friuits wrapped in plastic. Think about how much more would be used if we were all Vegetarian/Vegan.
You Vegans do not think about any of that when you go on your high and mighty rants against people that eat meat.

Oh and Antropologists reckon that it was our eating of meat that gave us our big brains and high intelligence.

Also look at the lists of the most highly intelligent species on Earth and you will notice something and that is that they are either Carnivores or Omnivores.

So we would be destroying the planet worse if we all went Vegan/Vegetarian.

First off, ad hominem attacks prove that you don't actually have a good argument about the issue, especially if you feel the need to personally attack me before you even start. Very pathetic on your part. Second, I'm not even a vegan, I just don't like your fearmongering propaganda. And with that, your points are so lame that I'll just state the obvious about the first one: cows use up way, way more farmland than vegetables.

And here's an actual credible source to explain that to you: https://ourworldindata.org/land-use-diets

Roasted cauliflower steaks, finished in the pan with a ton of butter can be really, really good.

Not as good as meat, but easily good enough as a change up every so often.

There's a lot wrong in your post but let's start going through it all. The first being that it takes around 7-8 years of feeding crops to a cow to slaughter it for enough steaks to feed like a couple dozen people for one day. If everyone went vegetarian, we'd use much less land and irrigation and not more.

CassandraCroft posted...

The meat industry is the second biggest climate pollution contributor after coal. It's literally worse than oil.

Thousands of gallons of water again used over years for cows to drink and wash the fields out of shit far more wasteful than produce. Additionally, lots of produce can be sold without packaging, but meat can never be sold without it, so you will once again still use less plastic if everyone went vegetarian.
