I am not going to add another game to the queue right now with two upcoming but I always have original ideas for games randomly pop into my head. So if anyone wants a fun (and weird) idea for flavor and characters they can use and just come up with the roles and balance, Id be glad to share.

One I want to properly flesh out is set at a retirement community where dabbing has become all the rage, but a small group of elderly people are extremely bitter that twerking is still shunned by their fellow residents so they go on a murderous twerking rampage. Also every action is named after the song you dab or twerk to when you use it

Also have one thats a completely serious gothic mystery and a bit on the dark side, so uh yeah

I might host an auto game there this weekend or next week just to get people to be familiar with the commands and stuff. We can keep planned games on b8 still since I know many don't want to go over quite yet. Cool thing about MU though is you can do turbos and more quick games so if nothing else we can run games in between our normal games lol

I think the maritime theme is kinda close to the classic colors here, but i didn't really look at many of the others.

So how big of sticklers to traditional style games are they there? Like is it pretty open to do what we've kind of been doing lately with having games that have twists or surprise mechanics, or are we fairly limited to just doing normal games?

If it's in our subforum they are 100% hands off

A lot of our games would involve manual adjustments. Given we do nothing but manual here nothing changes lol

Also to join turbos you just join the mu discord and !in at the turbo channel whenever a game signing up.

They are pretty chill. Mostly.

Turbo is like aim mafia style right. I'm never playing another one of those again. But yeah let me know when we play a normal game over there and I'll play.

Kind of. In mu the turbos are open setups with like 15 minute days.

The most popular is a 10 player with a town joat and 2 mafia goons. Pretty fun tbh

As a former EpicMafia enthusiast, turbo games seem just up my alley. There was one particular setup I really enjoyed that was just dumb and mindless fun. One day I wanna run that setup again

JuST convince more people in your neck of the woods to play a weird word game online with you and random people that get mad over silly things, easy as that

they usually last like, 60-90 minutes?

I know people are all hyped for features and stuff but i say this every time we try: i wish we wouldn't.

Board 8 has dwindled but as a community we still exist and occasionally we draw in new people.

As someone lacking places i still feel comfortable this place is oddly important to me. F5ing b8 at least a few times throughout the day is something i still do.

And when playing mafia sometimes yeah, I'm fucking tired and forgetful and when i hit that f5 i get that "oh yeah i should do that" reminder.

Playing outside we lose that. And we start drawing people away from our little community here.

And well, I'm not really comfortable playing games like mafia with people i dont know.

If you all want to do it, fine, i cant stop you. But i would like to again make my preference known.

Well, we've got 11 people in the check in topic. The cool thing about MU is if we don't want to play with anyone from MU you don't have to, as subforums can restrict who plays in their games at their leisure. I don't think having a couple of people from MU in games would hurt too much though, its like a new person stumbling onto this forum except you know, not.

Also I doubt this MU thing is going to replace mafia as a whole here, plenty of people just want to stay here. Think of this as another option rather than a replacement.
