I was watching the dark side of Comedy and they had Mencia on there and they talked about how he lost everything due to his joke stealing. Amy seems to steal jokes too, but she is the most successful female comic out there. Why didn't she face as much backlash.

Luckily Amy Schumer and her MY VAGINA BE LIKE comedy has started to fade away in recent years with the recent influx of far superior amazing female comedians that have actual material.

She comes from money and her family is well connected. If it wasn't for that she probably would have lost everything, then again she probably would have never risen to begin with either.

Racism probably played a factor. White people pretty much stopped watching him, so he fell out of the mainstream. He still does really well with live shows as he has a big Hispanic following. ... Copied to Clipboard!
