I get like 1 hour of paid leave per 30 hours of work. So every 30 work days I get 1 work day off. It's pretty garbage, tbh. Can't wait to leave.

16 days a year (because I do 4 day weeks, and the entitlement is based on weeks rather than individual days). Plus any public holidays that fall on a day I usually work, I can either have them off or have another day of my choice off in their place. (Except the couple the store is closed, which is just a day off with no alternative option.)

Any overtime you work you can take as compensatory time whenever you want. So say you work an extra 8 hour shift one week you would earn 12 hours that you could take off at any other time. We can keep a maximum balance of 80 comp time hours and anything over that they just pay you out in OT money. I always keep my balance at 80 hours as sort of an "emergency fund" You can also request that comp time be paid out at any time you want.

I have known people in the past who were off 12 weeks one year and was able to cover it all with comp time and not use any vacation.

The Holiday's which you can request off as well and be paid for being off or work them and get OT. You are always scheduled to work a holiday unless it falls on your normal day off.

You can only carry a vacation balance of twice what you earn in a year. Since I earn 216 hours a year my max vacation balance is 432 hours. I keep it close to max and I'm forced to take 2 days off a month and every 4 months I need to take 3 days off that month. I tend to take a 3 day weekend the last two weeks of the month. Between vacation and comp time my usable balance is right around 500 hours. There is no max on sick leave and I have over roughly 2,500 hours.

I get like 30 a year. Which is plenty enough for me since I get weekends and federal holidays. Just got a 4-day for veterans day

26 days paid off plus 10 vacation and 10 personal days each year.

Personal days stack but vacation days must be used. if I dont use all vacation days 3 are turned into personal days the rest i would lose.

I'm part time, so only 5 days.

I think I've accrued 19 vacation days, 3 floaters, and 5 sick days during the time I've worked at my job, which are all paid time off.

30 days a year and holidays most of the time.

10 days a year until year 5 and it becomes 15 I think. Each day is equivalent to 8 hour work days. Along with 3 sick days.

my roommate gets this kind of paid leave.

trying to help him use it when he actually gets sick. it can cover a gap in a paycheck where i won't suffer as badly (have contributed in the past with a month of rent) just really nasty one month it came down to picking if i would have games for the month or have the dog fed (always choose the dog).

that month i lost out on 2 weeks of sales (1 including that smurfs game that got on sale) one time deal too.
