Indra Life in the Base -morning- Before I Rise (Acoustic Ver.) I certainly like what Moon Wind Demon Legend (where did "hell" come from) brings to the table, even if I wish we'd gotten a more stylistically varied selection. That said, I don't think any of them rise to the level of astounding for me -- and, well. I started playing HBR solely because of the OST. I have recovered so you all have to live with my stream of consciousness once again :) Nearly forgot how, well, powerfully radiant this track is. This seriously feels like a godlike boss battle. So fucking intense and strong. I like the use but not over reliance on Japanese instruments. Powerfully radiant is an apt way to describe this one too, especially the backing instrumental and chanting portions. I remember not being too hot on the main vocalist last I've heard this, but it was definitely more of a lukewarm response than outright dislike. I think I was just disappointed that this song wasn't as scary as the intro suggested LOL This one's got a really thrilling back and forth to it. Another intense track to fight to. The first track I think has more to it for me to grip onto but this one is great too. Light and airy and really sweet. Good music to represent a chill morning or afternoon with friends. Not a single worry to be had. Whoa yeah the cat noises make this one cheesy and fun. I think this kind of sound could easily be too cheap, but I think its done well enough. Oh we got some nice acoustic sounds with this one. The vocals work nicely with this sound, simple but not boring. Definitely more into this than I am into Indra. Indra's quite good, though I don't think the shifts between moods work for me. I might love it if it stayed spooky/intense throughout. The other songs do nothing for me. Like, they're fine, but there's other sad/fun Key songs that I'm more into.
