Comes out at 9 PM EST.

Last episode. Hope it delivers because I'm hyped.

I really hope it's not another Secret Invasion lol.

I'll admit it was a fun ride, even though I'm still confused with how the whole time thing works and everything. Let's just hope it doesn't fuck up the ending this time around.

i got bored and gave up after the first episode, and wasn't fond of the first season neither. Is this season an essential watch for the overall MCU or is it skippable?

It will definitely tie into Kang's stuff overall, but I guess we won't find out till tonight what the true ramifications will be.

It's a good watch if you liked season 1.

I'm glad He Who Remains gets to be a bigger villain in all of this than we thought. He's my favorite Kang variant so far. I love how he's jovial and sinister at the same time. Hopefully they keep building up and showing more and more powerful Kang variants in other shows and movies.

I really enjoyed that. Of course I think we all knew Loki would end up taking over the multiverse in some way. It was neat to see it happen that way.

I do tend to nitpick on little things I notice, but when OB said they waited too long why did Loki still insist on attempting to fix the loom while it's going critical and killing Victor? Especially after he learned to build and operate the devices on his own. Could he not have built it and given it to OB during episode one when Mobius safely made the trip to the loom thing? OB would trust him and have Mobius install it while he's there.

I know, I know, it's a TV show and not real actions being taken. But it irks me when a better solution is right there and the characters don't even try it.

Also, did it bother anyone else that when Loki asked how long it's take him to learn what OB and Victor know, OB said decades, but Victor said Centuries? Um, but full of yourself there aren't you Mr Timely?

Best Finale for a MCU show by far. The show is still no Andor, but I gotta give it to them that was one hell of an ending. I did not expect them to go this route. He Who Remains just went from a 5/10 from season 1 to a 9/10 in season 2. When he told Loki that no matter what "You lose.", that was fucking fire. Loki still loses, but he experienced soo much character development in this show from season 1 that honestly he probably did win in the end. He made a lot of friends and was willing to make a great sacrifice like this when Loki from Avengers 1 wouldn't have ever thought of such a thing. He basically made the Yggdrasil of the timelines and he finally got a throne.

8.5/10 show just for the finale alone. It meandered a lot in the middle episodes and I'm still kinda of confused how the whole time thing works, but it was the best ride I had so for a MCU show. It's my favorite MCU show yet.

Really good episode, great season, though I am a little confused about the ending and why he has to, like, literally hold time together or whatever he's doing. I wish that was more clear.

And I mean, in the end he won, instead of lose. But he's still alone.... And I'm not quite sure what Mobius is going to do. If his timeline is still gone then he still can't go back to that life. Will he try to make a new life? Or end up back at the TVA when he gets tired of staring at another man's life?

Ok, this is just my guess at what happened there. The loom was what was creating the sacred timeline, and all the other timelines branched from the sacred one. By destroying the loom they were all cut off from the source and died.

So he then used his time powers(I guess?) to revive them himself. But they only remained alive as long as they were in contact with him. So he grabbed a bunch, entered the void to remove himself further from time, and bound them all to himself. Which then he either created or became Ygdrasil, source of all life and time in the multiverse.

I'm not totally sure what that means for the sacred timeline. I guess he either recreated it, or its a patchwork universe withing the ones he's sustaining or something. Perhaps these events actually destroyed it and we'll see the main timeline we've been watching fall apart at a future time, maybe in secret wars or whatever.

Might not be as bad after a couple centuries of constant stressing about how to save the cosmos.

Frost Giants live a very long time, not as long as Asgardians (5,000 years give or take), so the 200 years to learn all the advanced quantum and temporal engineering the universe has to offer probably wasn't that big of a drop in the bucket.

I'm thinking that since it's his power sustaining everything that he is now connected to every Loki and may be able to slip into their lives to influence specific events.

Um, 200 out of 5,000 is 4%. You take 4% of a human lifespan and thats 3 to 4 years. Its not your whole life but in no way is that concentrated effort to save the cosmos a drop in the bucket. The show definitely portrayed it as a significant monumental effort.

I took that to be about the time periods they're both from. Basic math and being able to read is something a small child is able to do today, they weren't in Timely's period.
So while OB assumes Loki is able to read, write, do math and has a basic understanding of physics and engineering, Timely assumes he's the same as an average person of his time period which are centuries behind Timely's own knowledge and understanding of those concepts.

That was an amazing episode. Loki is one of the best MCU contents in years. It did Loki as a character a lot of justice.

It took me a bit to realize that this might have been the end of Loki's story. It kind of felt like there would be more, but they're saying there is no plan for season 3. Which starts making sense when you think about what actually happened here. I'm conflicted, but maybe it's good to leave something like this on a high note.

Even if we ever see him again, it won't be till at least the next two Avengers, which at this rate with all the recent delays, will likely be delayed to 2027/2028. Even then, we might just see a variant, and never this actual Loki again.

Binged the season this morning. I was worried with the recent meh quality of the MCU that Id be disappointed in it so held off until it was all out.

What a great damn finale to a great damn season. Sad that were most likely done with Loki, but what an incredible way for his story to end.

And god, I really hope Jonathan Majors is found not guilty so we can get more of him.

Also I really like how the finale of season one and the finale of season two were centered around two halves of the same conversation.

100%. So sick of the finale being some CGI fest with almost no stakes of a hero vs a villain. Easily the best finale we got for a MCU show yet. It's not perfect, but it's a step in the right direction.

Glad we finally got a good ending to a D+ MCU series. I was a bit skeptical during the climax ("oh, so what, Loki's just going to use his powers in some nonspecific way to make everything better?") but the Yggdrasil imagery at the end really made it click for me and tied everything together (pun intended).
