I really hate that most streaming services dont drop shows all at once anymore. In the beginning, one of the reason I wanted to pay for these services was so I could watch how I wanted-binge, or week to week, or however I felt like. It was an added value of the model for me. I thought that the cabinet that wouldn't close would turn out to be Cecil spying on Mark and Debbie, but I guess that that Cherkov's Gun just represented Debbie's innability to truly move on from what happened. Overall, there's a lot more exlporation as to the character's inner feelings than what the comic did, and it works out really well. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Mark's vulnerability revealed in that kaiju fight...that wasn't in the comic, was it? It's been so long since I've read it that I don't remember. Also, these two episodes made me realize that Steven Yuen can be chilling as a villain. Just with such a blank intonation he can sound so as-a-matter-of-fact evil "Yeah, they nuked Europe off the map to kill my dad, then just wore me down. Oh well."
