I actually don't hate the suit, but you gotta switch to the black and red alternate and I could do without the fuckin' sneakers.

It's just really weird to me how many of Miles' costumes in that game are him in a hoodie.

It's just a straight up bad design. His hair is sticking out, people will know who he is just based off hair alone. The colors are bright and gaudy, when black and red are HIS colors. The ones be picked...why the blue? And yeah, let's not talk about fucking sneakers...

The alternate colors are bearable but still. What does the hoodie even accomplish??

Most of the people who know Miles already know he's Spider-Man and anyone who doesn't know Miles is not going to gleam his identity because he has a hairstyle thousands of teenage dudes in a city of eight million have.

Him coming out with the "Miles Morales original" in 2 made no sense because (like this topic said) his costume was already a statement of his independence and identity

but also because the timing makes no sense. In 2 there's no buildup to it and it's not really part of his arc he just shows up in the third act with a new outfit.

While that is fair, I'd say that's more proof that Peter and Miles are so cavalier about their identities that his hair isn't going to make any difference lol.

Like I thought it was going to be an actual plot point because Venom breaks into Peter's house and then Spider-Man and Scream have a loud argument where they use each other's names in front of a bunch of people.

I hope this Adidas created abomination doesn't make it into the third game.

I think it kinda makes sense - Miles felt he was too dependent on Peter and throughout the game, he becomes more confident, capable, and independent.

also, even though his initial costume was more his own, it was still a bit derivative of Peter's.

now he's establishing he's a different Spider-Man outside of a pallette swap.

Genke also helped him make his first suit, so it's possible Genke is the only one of the two that has taste.

Yeah, the suit came out of nowhere. That and considering the game was sponsored by Adidas (seriously, it's the only real-life store chain in the game) and that the clothes are sold at the Adidas store, it was probably something the devs had to put in after the story was already finalized.

Miles suit legit looks like an out of touch corporate dick made it is that really going to be his main outfit going forward? Using superheroes as advertising boards, how disgusting.
