Its an 8.8 for me. Had a wonderful time but I wasnt creative enough to get the most out of it (outpost and ship building) and you do have to stumble around the mechanics a bit to start because it tells you nothing. Ill play ng+ in 2024 it looked interesting but theres other stuff to play

I liked it, but man, does it have some UI problems and lack of basic tutorials. Plus it came out in a stacked year and got overshadowed by a bunch of other stuff. I was hooked on it, but don't even know what score I would give because of how much of a mess it is.

They're going to be supporting it for several years, which is good, because it really needs some kind of Phantom Liberty-esque improvement.

No, but it's still a good game. I don't think Besthesda can make a 10/10 game with the way they choose to make games, but they're certainly enthralling experiences.

I think it was a solid 7, had problems, but still managed to sink 5 days into it so I definitely enjoyed a lot of it.

Nope. It's not a bad game, but it's far from a 10/10. In my opinion, it would have benefited a lot from being toned down in scale. Yes, there are a lot of planets, but there's fuck all to do on most of them. Fewer planets with more detail, and the ability to actually fly around in space would have been great.

I'm not even bothered by the fact that traveling from one planet to another is all cutscenes, but we have all of this spaceship customization and we can't even leave a planet's orbit without fast traveling. It's so much wasted potential.

Fuck no. Easy 7/10 for me. Got through one faction questline and started another and haven't touched it since.

Like every Bethesda game, they like to implement half-baked ideas in there that are fun to dink around in for like half an hour and then they wear out their welcome. Space combat is a prime example, it is just boring fast traveling and entering a combat encounter and then fast traveling more. Who thought that was fun? Who thought it would be fun to just fast travel between planets instead of giving you freedom to fly there yourself?

If scales were honest, 7 is like the perfect score for it. It can be fun, but it has way too many technical flaws and can get severely repetitive.

But man did it not help that Phantom Liberty came out and sorta took that Bethesda concept and blew it out the water.

Id say it was a 5/10. It was a decent game but it was hyped up to be something it definitely was not. The space travel left a lot to be desired. All it was was planet hopping. The planets were virtually lifeless, the caves on every planet were exactly the same. Oh don't even get me started on the talents and gaining experience.

I started replaying mass effect 1 shortly after giving up on starfield. The world in mass effect feels so much more alive. Combat is also better. Hell even the graphics are more aesthetically pleasing at times. That game is almost old enough to buy nicotine products.

It will be when mods turn it into Sexfield.

From what I've heard, Ng+ is tied to the lore so it's better you get to it asap.
