I guess it can be kinda sexy if done right on a woman. But too many tattoos is just bad looking IMO. Sleeves and full body shit? Not usually good looking.

I will probably just never understand the appeal. Especially when you see someone a bit older, who clearly got their tattoo when they were younger and skinner. Fat, stretched out tattoos is just not good looking.

Personally I'll likely never get any visible tatts. I never know what tomorrow holds and I don't wanna ever be told a place won't hire me cause of my tatts. Where I work now used to make you cover them up. Which could mean wearing long sleeves in the summer with no ac in the building.

I do not like sleeves or thigh tattoos. I love legs and having any tattoo ruins them. That ugly blackish green fade when tattoos start aging is ugly as sin.

Tattoos have too many variables to claim they're bad as a whole, but a lot of people do choose bad variables tbh

I only got one tattoo I'll say the art is well done. But each tattoo save one I got for a reason. As said I keep them hidden. They are for me. Only time another person will see my tatts is if I'm comfortable enough being shirtless around them in mine or their house. Or we fucking

I can definitely respect that. Having meaning behind a specific tattoo makes sense to me. But getting a shit ton to try and look cool or to look a certain way is usually when things start to look bad

Confirm. Especially name tattoos. So many hot girls ruin their bodies by getting tattoos.

I actually quite like tattoos, even on women. Of course mileage varies depending on where and what it is (never been a fan of tramp stamps) but as long as the tattoos are something absurd I can get behind them.

I can't really jive with sleeve tattoos.

I get the notion ("telling your story on your body") but having so much art in such a small space means I as an observer can't appreciate it to the degree that it's trying to convey. I actually like to know why a tattoo is significant if it is (I think it's cool if someone found a way to capture an experience or past event with an artistic representation that they can put meaning to) but when it get so dense like that I lose the message in the noise.

especially if you just see a sleeve like that on someone in passing. Unless you have time to stop and inspect it, it usually just looks like a bunch of random scribbling on an Olive Garden paper table with crayons.

Pends person and tatoo in question. It has be a deep reflection or have meaning to be nice, most sadly I think drunkenly gotten

I actually fully intend to get at least two tattoos.

One is the Smash Bros emblem.

The other will be of my children's names.

Yeah, I think most tattoos look like trash. There's some really cool ones every now and then, though. I also wouldn't insult anyone's tattoos in real life. If you Iike them that's fine, but they're not for me.

I don't really find them attractive on a woman either. At best they're neutral and at worst they detract from a woman's natural beauty.

Due to my job I'm used to tatts. But I associate anything above the neck with criminals.

Like half the people at my job have tats but I ain't into that. Plus I wouldn't be able to hang dong in an onsen with my fellow countrymen while I was in Japan. They don't allow tattoos there.

Which is why it's mystifying that so many people pick ones that are horrible clichs, meaningless garbage, or make me want to use the word 'cringe', even though I find that cringe in itself.

I'm so glad the place I'm working now (a grocery store) has official posters in the breakroom from corporate and half the models they used have full sleeve tats. Obviously not a deal breaker for the company if you have them.
