I was told it did something to help with the passing, but I don't remember exactly what.

Gallstones. Couldn't do anything for 10 hours except grit my teeth in between vomiting from the pain.

But the hospital did give me morphine :)

Im on flomax for four more days, and Im drinking three liters of water a day. Six of those 500ml bottles. Its been six days since I was in the ER. The damn thing is only 2mm wide or whatever, I just want it gone.

Im tired of constantly needing to go to the bathroom.

I think the highest level pain I've experienced was thankfully pretty brief, but pretty excruciating in the moment.

I'd sliced off the tip of my pinky on a mandolin. It was such a clean cut that I had a few seconds to look at the "rings" of my finger meat, but when it decided to bleed it really got going. I was trying to think of ways to stop the bleeding, and I had the thought to use a styptic pencil. I knew it wasn't the best way, and it would sting really bad, because that's how it goes, but I'm generally ok about that kind of stuff.

It's hard to describe the sensation that hit me the moment the tip of that pencil touched the center of my finger. The image that comes to mind is someone stabbing an electrified jewellers file into the end of my finger and running it along the bone, down past the knuckle to my wrist joint.

I involuntarily dropped the pencil, jerked, grabbed my hand, and started dancing around. The only reason the air didn't turn blue was because I had just enough presence of mind to remember family was visiting and there were kids in the house. Thankfully, as I said, it was pretty brief and I was able to collect myself and properly tend to my wound.

The food here is terrible. My steak was so tough it attacked my coffee and the coffee was too weak to defend itself.

Pancreatitis. I used to think the intense pain I felt from my exposed nerves as my teeth broke down years ago was the worst pain ever. It was a 10/10 on the pain scale

Then I got pancreatitis. I don't even really have an accurate comparison to the pain I felt. All I remember was throwing up everything I ate, intense sharp pain, horrible constipation, and then the great relief of IV pain killers.

I once bruised my intestines. Sort of. Like, there's a membrane on your intestines that sort of keeps them in place? The doctor tried to explain it to me but I am a very dumb.

But basically I managed to bruise that and had been in massive amounts of pain for several days. Me being a stubborn bitch refused to go to the doctor, despite having to brace and silence myself from screaming out in pain just getting out of bed.

Eventually did go and the doctor basically asked me how the fuck I was walking around.

Ive broken both bones simultaneously in my left arm and I would still take that over the infected tooth I had a couple years ago.
