The base game is 92% off ($8.99) and the DLC packages are discounted. The problem is that I dont know what DLC is worth having or not. Which package is the best?

Theres one for $56 that is allegedly discounted from $664.

i was planning to disagree but i'm going along with it this time.

season pass contains the content
season pass 2 contains arms race, a new skill tree for each vault hunter and some hidden eridium piles.

Probably just the Season passes. Other stuff is 99% cosmetics I reckon

I would get the $20 version with the actual Season Pass if you can't be dissuaded from buying the DLC at all since it's pretty terrible. SP2 is a straight ripoff, though. It has the "Arms Race" dlc which is a pretty barebones, boring mode. A bunch of cosmetics and some vault tokens or w/e they were called.

Ah borderlands. The most common game series on my steam notifications, since it's on a new sale like 98% of the year.

If your buying any BL3 DLC, the only 2 that I feel are worth the trouble are Guns, Love and Tentacles; and maybe Handsome Jacks Heist. Kreigs was a massive let down. I thought it would be more like Tiny Tinas Assault on Dragon Keep, but it wasn't. The biggest miss was that He already knew about Mayas death. If he didn't know about her death, that could have forced his world to start crumbling thus changing the landscape while your playing.

That would've probably be a sure way to make Ava the single most hated character in anything ever.

Arms Race has some fuckin' GREAT gear, though.

Plasma Coil is practically a requirement.

Getting The Handsome Collection for $10(or even less) remains one of the best values in gaming if you're even remotely interested in the gameplay.

For BL3, yeah, the DLC isn't as great. The casino DLC has some fun class mods for the characters, and the tentacle DLC has some fun weapons and you might enjoy the Lovecraftian vibe, the western DLC has easy access to legendary gear, and the Krieg DLC is probably most remembered as a disappointment.

I played through all the DLC and I didn't recall any that I really enjoyed. So I honestly wouldn't recommend them. If I had to PICK one the casino is probably the best one or the Kreig DLC. The ONLY reason for Kreig is maybe for some Lore same for the Jack DLC.

But overall I played through all of them and I was so disappointed with them all I was so close to making a full breakdown review of why they disappointed so much.

BL3 is fine as a standalone game though. This is all coming from a guy who played multiple times of BL3 with a friend from start to finish and both of us didn't enjoy the DLC at all.

Of the big 4 I'd say the wedding is the best.

I've tried to like Wonderland, but it just feels boring compared to Assault on Dragon Keep.

I got the $30 mega collection that contains every single game and every single dlc. That's probably the best bet.

That is a collection of Borderlands, Borderlands GOTY remake, Borderlands 2, The Pre-Sequel, Borderlands 3, Tales of the Borderlands and New Tales of Borderlands with all DLC.

imo all you need is the first season pass, the expansion packs were solid. Don't think any of the other DLC really adds anything unless you want cosmetics.

Also, if you have ANY of the games, when you load it up you can get this bundle for simply $30 as I mentioned. I got the Borderlands Handsome Collection on PS+ and it gave me the ability to buy the mega collection for $30. Was an easy get when Borderlands 3 + DLC was already $30. Now I got a whole bunch more as well.
