There is nothing good about it.

as far as the posts and social part of it go, you're right. there's legit stuff to utilize on it.

I managed to get a couple of jobs LinkedIn and Zip Recruiter.

The one I have now though came from attending a job fair.

But what about the scam job postings with inflated salaries.

Yeah, when I joined, I was told it was "this great networking site that was essential for career development & growth".

Maybe some industries, but not mine. Most of the links I made were with people I already knew, their friends or people I would have run into eventually anyway.

Stopped visiting about 5 years ago. Might as well close it (if I haven't already?) because when I do check it, it's 90% conspiracies and other bullshit.
