VFalcone 11/03/23 2:13:46 PM #9:	AvP is a great popcorn flick and I think it's a bit unfairly rated. AvP Requiem takes itself too seriously while not delivering. Alien: Resurrection just isn't very good at all imo. The direction and concepts in it don't sit well with me at all. It's was a disservice to Ripley and the queen Xeno and I wish it was never made. I think Alien 3 Assembly Cut is a great film. Obviously not as good as Alien and Aliens but it can safely sit at 3rd place. <cite>VFalcone posted [p:977013629] in Did you li... specialkid8 11/03/23 2:20:17 PM #11:	AVP is an absolute blast. Resurrection is ok but it's just a generic action adventure movie with Aliens thrown in. It's literally just the Poseidon Adventure. Alien 3 is overall pretty boring but the finale running around the tunnels is pretty tense. Resurrection was just a giant pile of "what the fuck?", but in a way, this made it stick with me more. Weaver's performance in particular was hilarious, even if the writing decisions for the character were awful.
