Nope, we have all types of beards, hair, etc. We're all office workers, so who cares? Not like there's a safety concern.

No. I am kinda surprised how lax they could be about tattoos and piercings, but they used to come down real hard on dress code. There is a dress code as business casual but it was militantly enforced by my ex manager in the past. It's just department store retail.

Now it's still there but unless you are wearing pajamas (lol) or something vulgar it's not going to be such a big deal.

I work at a power plant for a major state university. No rules at all on hair/facial hair. Im grateful for that after spending time in the military where it was as strict as can be on hair/facial hair.

Not on the staff side, but on the medical side there are guidelines for being well-kempt and easily coverable for sanitary and allergen reasons for pretty sensible reasons, but we leave that for the chief and their guys to handle versus having my COO or someone else deal with.

Not going to lie, I've been here in various roles for over a decade and I don't even know those specifics off the top of my head.

Probably, since I work for the state. But for my specific job, probably not, since I stay in the office a lot and dont need to go to court like the attorneys, where I assume they should look professional.

I think theres one about unnatural hair colors, but I dont know if they even enforce it. I know people have had highlights or colored strips, but I dont think anyone has fully dyed their hair in a color that isnt natural to humans.
Stuff is a bit fast and loose, because some people get certain leniencies, and if those people get those leniencies, there isnt really a defense for someone elses appearance being at a similar level.
