It was on sale on humble bundle and I just got back into playing those games randomly. Seemed like a perfect time to get it. Anyone play this game?

I got the first 3 DlC's with it as well, each for $10. It really beat out paying the $129 for the definitive edition. Gonna get the fourth dlc when it gets to at least half price.

I pre-ordered it on steam before they removed it from steam but then I didn't have any access to new content. I think its now back on steam but I've lost what little interest I had in the game.

Yeah some how I had anno 2205 and all the dlc's. Don't remember how I got it, it was on epic store so probably got it for free. It was terrible. I disliked the "missions" and not being able to save whenever sucks as cause if yous crew up, gotta start the campaign shit all over again. There is a reason a lot of people consider it the worst. I personally liked the simplicity of it but the save issue and the missions sucked ass.

Supposedly anno 1800 is the best and gets super high praise. Saw some videos on it and it seemed interesting enough. I like it so far, my first place is a mess though lol

I have tried to play through the base story of 1800 at least seven times now, and I always hit a wall and then stop for a few months before trying to pick it up again.

It definitely is the best looking of the games and has a lot of awesome features, especially with the DLC.

1404 remains my favourite in the series followed by 2070. Played the heck out of both those games. 2205 was a miss, played it some more not too long ago and it wasn't as bad as I remembered but still the worse out of the Anno games I've played. 1800 from what I played seemed pretty good but I never really got too far into that one.

I've played it a lot. That and Anno 2205. 1800 has so many features, it's great, you'll love it.

You have 1800 asses?

I remember playing 1602 as a kid, but that's the only one of the series I've played.

Yeah, it was my first anno game. Don't know why we had it, but I enjoyed it even though I didn't understand it at all as a kid.

Yeah, I was just gonna play 2070 but the game being on sale with most DLC's at around $45-50 I had to take it while it was discounted. May fire up 2070 again, just to play it. I remember someone on POTD got me anno 1404, don't remember their name anymore. I think they got bullied off the site. Anyways, anno 1404 was fun as well, could have played that game but hearing 1800 was that game but improved massively i had to try it.
