I have seen nothing but positive reviews of it, and Ive loved every min Im playing. But there has to be people out that that gave it a chance and didnt like it.

So if you played it and didnt like it why didnt you enjoy it?

I did like it

I love the game, in fact Im playing it now and prolly put over 500hrs into it without even scratching the surface of the final act. But goooooddamn if it doesnt have a metric fuckton of bugs. Also it has some questionable design decisions that I cant believe they overlooked.

If I had to rate it, Id still give it a 10/10 because of how amazing it is, but thats only because its cons brought it down from a 12/10.

I've decided to play 1 & 2 first, so hopefully I might start 3 by 2025...

It's a 10/10 game in the first two acts, in the third & final stretch it turns into a 7.5/10. There's a never ending stream of bugs, glitches, gameplay issues, audio/visual issues, blatant bad game design, & poor utilization of the 'evil' path compared to good or neutral routes. It needs another few months of patches probably to really rectify the last 30%

I did like it, I wish there had been more monstrous races to play as, but I liked it.

Shadowbae only wants to go as far as kissing, once; Kargath literally cant even do that, meanwhile Wyll, Gale, and Astarion have all but whipped their dicks out in front of me.

Bro, Wylls dancing scene was so fucking awkward, and Gale kinda guilts you into sitting uncomfortably close to him since the dude is on the verge of fucking dying, Id have felt like the biggest of dicks if I said no to that.

The people that bought it loved it. The people who didnt dont know enough to say if they liked it or not.

I love it, but I don't think its flawless. The ending is a real sourspot and I think there's some other iffy design choices.

The only thing I didn't like is the ending but I guess that's why it has a 96 instead of a 100

It's a fun game but irony has it right that the ending sucked. I was expecting something like the fallout games which are a staple in crpgs. Also the last act was kinda weak compared to the previous two acts.

I did like it and got the plat though...

Runs like a greased turd & has that trademark Larian inventory management that I hear they made worse since the last time I bothered playing.

Yeah I almost skipped my second playthrough after the ending. Glad I didn't.

Watched clips of it and it looks so offputting I dont even want to try it. Safe to say I wouldnt like it.
