The ip is super hot right now and it would be really easy for them to just shine up 1,2,3, and CV and release them together. The remakes are great but the originals haven't been easily available on modern hardware for years. A few of them already got the HD treatment but even which ones were chosen and what system they went to has been kind of random. Seems like an easy way for Capcom to earn a quick buck.

I've been playing resident evil games since the first one came out, probably overall my favorite game franchise. There's no way in hell I'd spend money on hd updates for the old games, the controls are extremely dated and handle like ass. For their time it was great but I don't think I could ever go back to playing with those clunky ass controls

^People love shitty old games now. The indie scene has been built entirely around replicating shitty old games for over a decade.

Yeah I guess that's true, probably just a personal hang up of mine but every time I try to play those older games I just can't move past it. Now that I'm really thinking about it I probably would buy something like that if there was like a physical edition that had some cool collectible stuff.

Hey not trying to yuk anyone's yum they just really don't work for me anymore but no hate to anyone that enjoys them

I would actually prefer if they just take the origin collection and then patch it to run 60fps

That's why emulation exists

A collection or 1-3 & Code Veronica would be nice.
