Just a random poll I wanted to make. Most impressive domestic opening weekend of all time? Consider the time the film was released and how much its opening weekend was relative to other weekends of its time. Also consider extenuating circumstances (Return of the Jedi opened on a Wednesday and that opening day isn't included in its Fri-Sat total, No Way Home opened less than two years after the pandemic, etc.)

Worth adding that Endgame's worldwide opening weekend was $1.2B, beating the current record of $640M. In terms of opening weekends, it's amazing how far it was above everything else. It could end up holding the record for a surprisingly long time.
