Chicago is a using money to help the immigrants that Republicans are shipping into the city. Different groups of the people from the town have been getting upset with this. And protesting. This seems like some groups are doing more than just protesting. Which they should not be doing.

They were mad at her because she didn't tell anyone and tried to act like a couple of tweets and visiting a few houses was enough notice. Of course, they shouldn't have gotten violent, but expect more of this. Same is happening with the black community there as well.

Yes it is unfair that the shelters end up in neighborhoods where the rent is lower.

I have been following what many African Americans are saying. What the issue many have is that they for years they have been asking for help, and had not gotten it. But not they are literally being displaced from the few places that they have for others. So it isn't I HATE THOSE PEOPLE that you might see from someone in some other places.

Chicago residents literally voted for this.
Their politicians were quite vocal and proud about it being a sanctuary city.

CBS News quotes sources. It does not say mayor's office or city council. Yes indeed journalists have intelligence sources that city alderman do not have. While President Biden may have better sources, the 12th ward Alderman has a modest staff.

I picked Chicago because of its protections toward migrants and its a city that doesnt discriminate toward us, one man said. The other cities are less welcoming to us and overcrowded.

Explaining why they attacked her does not mean I condone them attacking her. I made it clear it was wrong but that the violence over this is not gonna stop. And she does not represent what they want sinces she's all ACAB and the Asian and Latino community has made it clear they want cops around. Brighton Park is considered impoverished. It doesn't matter if some people are worried about property values. This is not limited to only this area, since black people have been going way harder in a all southern inner city areas. If you actually lived in Chicago, you would know this.
