I guess its just the simplest answer. As theyve done similar before. Unless Hamas did indeed launch a missile into their own territory, which just seems very odd in reasoning to begin with. Just saying that a missile failed is a pretty lame technical explanation for a pretty big failure. Especially considering they have limited missiles of that size. Could it be a third party rouge group? Potentially but Israel specifically said it was Hamas controlled, to what benefit does it give them to blame Hamas for this exactly? When the general perception of this war hasnt exactly been as smooth for them as the thousand other instances. Lumping more vitriol for Hamas vs lumping more for Arabs/Muslims in general is not that far of a step in terms of logical leap for people who already feel that way. They equate one with another, so that itself is pretty damning of a reason as to why even for a PR swing it makes 0 sense for them to blame Hamas when they know for a fact it wasnt.

Also, just to make something clear, the only reason people don't trust information coming out of Israel is because they've lied and spread misinformation before. Because of that people are understandably cautious.

That does not, I repeat, does NOT mean they support Hamas or sympathize with them as some ignorant people have been trying to claim.

Most people sympathize with the people caught in the crossfire who have nowhere to go and nowhere to feel safe.

Furthermore, the people calling us Hamas supporters and sympathizers are perfectly fine with civilian casualties as long as Hamas is eradicated because "It's the only thing that can be done".

Hamas needs to be stopped yes, not at the expense of people.

Funny you talking about others being blind to propaganda while you gulp up Israel propaganda with great thirst. No, we're well-educated on the subject, which is why we can see the obvious trend of Israel grabbing more and more Palestinian land as they push Palestinians out. That's ethnic cleansing, my friend.

IT IS ethnic cleansing. Theyve just been doing it in a slow way to make as less noise as possible, but its been well documented anyway. Hundreds of apartheid articles and videos dating back decades now. Theyre pretty much telling/ showing the world that they would wipe off palestinians from the face of the earth of they could get away with it

Which was a major point to what bidens said about not becoming fueled by rage. Most are in agreement to avoid civilian casualties. But war is war, there will be misfires and other costly mistakes. Hamas is more powerful than a lot of you realize as well.
