The story follows a hero who has a strict no-kill policy when fighting crime. However, his moral code backfires when one of the villains he spared returns to murder his girlfriend. Devastated and guilt-ridden, the hero must face the consequences of his actions and decide whether to change his ways or not. Since he and others blame him for her death.

Kinda boring tbh.

Love interest dies for story arc of male protag is a bit of a dead horse. Make it a child and maybe it wouldnt be so cliche. A hero having to face his wife/lover every day afterwards would have weight.

The story could be better if the protagonist actually morphs into the villain of the story as he slowly accepts that killing is warranted. Itd at least be different and actually show how one progresses to Wed be no better than the bad guys.

All my opinion of.

What's the reason for the no-kill policy?

You could do some interesting stuff with character and backstory here, which would elevate your story beat. Maybe he saw an innocent killed by mistake, or someone capable of reform not given a chance. Perhaps it was his girlfriend who inspired him to adopt it. This would complicate his later feelings and add depth to the dilemma. Otherwise it might just end up as another 'learned to be cynical the hard way' story.

Why can't people be stone cold killers like James Bond?

And I don't mean Frank Castle style killer.

So Spider-Man?
Was thinking a spin on Spawn too. Could probably throw several more movies in there too.

Its not bad, but its a story thats somewhat been done a lot, so either the writing or acting depending on what it would be, would have to be phenomenal.

It's got at least one TV Tropes page dedicated to it, so a little generic.

Thanks for your suggestion all.

the fridge stuff is when when you just bring someone in just to kill them.she is going to be a full character that people grow to love.

Like I don't know what I want to do with the love interest. I was thinking that i would make her backstab the hero, at one point. Then the last thing I was thinking about was her getting stuck in a different world and leaving to hero to be with this guy named Paul.
