I fear he's going to be tempted to use the charging ports at the airport or in malls. Even if it's a device you've connected a million times before. If you already have charge cables you like you'd be better off getting the dongle only one rather then cable types like you posted. They're useful outside of the "airport" scenario, and saves wear on the usb sockets anyway. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08F7586NK They don't have to be that specific brand, but they do need to be the simple "circle and nub" two-connector type if you want just power. Like how at ATMs they can fit a fake keypad on which records your PIN code and you never know cause it looks like a normal keypad. in the wall wherever the charger is there could be a device that is reading via USB. Theoretically. I know theres USB devices that overload the power supply and brick whatever they plug into, as in physically destroyed, but I havent seen one where it steals all your data simply by being plugged in.
