It has to be a very specific temperature to prevent a body temp drop in them and even then if they weren't introduced to it as kittens it's very hard to introduce as adults. I don't bathe mine, my friend bathes his. My cat has had less health problems than his (he's had 5 total), which is not to say his got sick from bathing, just showing that not bathing didn't lead to health problems for mine. The only reason I gave them baths though was because the people we got them from had fleas so they came with a shit ton of fleas. She hated the baths every time. But once she dried she always seemed to feel great after. She had a big boost in affection, confidence, energy. Depends on the cat of course, but they can at least appreciate the after effects. --- If you want something done right, do it yourself.
