For depression, sure. It destroyed my sex drive and made me take forever to finish.

I asked for it for my depression and also for that possible quality since I exhibit some ADHD symptoms. To be totally honest, after most of the year I'm not sure it affects me in any way.

You might be able to have them give you Guanfacine too, because that's another drug used for ADHD that also helps with hypertension.

I actually like it FWIW. But I havent really tried anything else, possibly out of condition related laziness, so maybe it isnt that good? Still I have no complaints about side effects and am miserable off it.

I like it too. Helps keep me more "stable". The difference is subtle but very much there. Dropped it since I thought it wasn't doing anything and instantly I felt just a lot more chaotic especially during anxiety. Feels like it levels me more so for that I just take it.

I was on Wellbutrin for depression, and it worked well and had a great side effect of helping me lose weight.

Was on it for 15 years before stopping this year cause I feel like I no longer needed it. I have noticed that I have trouble focusing on work, I figured it was because the subject matter is boring, but maybe being off of the meds has something to do with it.

I hope it doesnt fuck my brain up.

Major symptoms like that are usually pretty rare.

I do recommend getting an Effexor prescription for depression, stuff is great.

That Vyvanse shit has less side effects then Adderall and is less expensive now that there is a generic right?

They put me on wellbutrin for depression because I didn't want to deal with sexual side effects, and I never really noticed anything related to attention from it.

I'm on it right now, 300mg. I'm lucky and it's changed my life for the better, at the cost of some headaches and the occasional bouts of insomnia or hypersomnia.

Gf had it as a mood stabilizer for awhile. Got to the point she was having incredible stomach pain and shitting herself at times. Basically gave her small scale IBS. When her Dr took her off of it the stomach problems cleared up.

Wellbutrin is mainly used to treat depression, but it can also be used to treat ADHD and anxiety, though it is effectiveness is limited and should not be used alone to combat those conditions if they are severe.

Wellbutrin is not believed to cause the sexual side effects of other anti-depressants (it works in a completely different way), though atypical cases have been reported, they are generally mild and clear up after stopping. In some cases Wellbutrin was used to treat sexual side effects caused by other anti-depressants.

In short, I'd give it a shot if I were you, it is a relatively safe medication and given the shortage of drugs to treat ADHD, it is a common sense place to start. Just be aware that it WILL take a toll on your appetite and you will want to make sure you are consuming the right amount of fluid and food.

I'm on it for long term mild depression. I've found if I take it after dinner it works best for me. I tried it in the morning on an empty stomach and had horrible cramps. Then I was told that was wrong and to take it at dinner after eating. That stopped the stomach cramps. No insomnia, but then I'm taking it several hours before I try sleeping anyway.

I have been thinking about seeing if I can add something for anxiety because I've been noticing an uptick in anxiety lately, but frankly that is likely me reading too many news stories about how screwed everything is.
