No, almost any random job I could do in the area would have better hours and more pay than being a police officer. I applied to be one in the area I grew up in but my application was turned down as they felt I would have a conflict of interest due to familial associations with people involved with organised crime in the area. It was more that they knew that if I was operating in that area I would be put under more pressure than the average copper to do things I shouldnt be doing. YugiNoob 10/09/23 9:41:43 AM #19:	Depends on how you define my area. Some cops get to chill by the courthouses and are always just saying hi when I pass by. That, I would most definitely do. On the other hand there are the ones that have to handle the insane drugees who attack people not too far away. I really wouldnt want to deal with the anxiety that comes from knowing that someone might jump me at any moment.
