i certainly didn't until just now when someone asked me if i watched it

I've seen multiple commercials for it both on YouTube and TV, but since I don't actually give a damn I couldn't have told you if they'd already released episodes or if it was still "coming soon".

I barely even knew the first season ended when it did. I stopped paying attention to MCU about the time the fourth Avengers came out, and think even friends of mine who were still into it stopped doing memes and references about a year later.

Episode 1 was great

i liked the first season but honestly i'm just done with marvel and star wars at this point.

might check in if/when they bring in wolverine though.

Right. I liked the first season and a half of Mandalorian well enough, and was fine with how the second season had ended. Then everything came out after it that tarnished the Star Wars brand, save for Andor, but a lot of people have dropped the franchise before Andor even came out because of how Boba Fett and Obi Wan turned out (compounded further by Episode IX).

I have long hated the corporate side of Disney, and now everything they've been touching for the last decade or more has been a steaming pile of excrement with a few miracle flowers growing and dying from a lack of sunlight or care. It's gotten this way because greed dictated too many parts of a couple wholes, and things we all once loved are buried beneath so much shit, we wouldn't have an easy time recognizing those good things if we tried.

I'm glad the days of people rambling about every individual episode of whatever capeshit show was going on are over. Just waiting for Star Wars to have its final collapse too.

Oh it's MCU. I thought it would be a show about the Norse god.

The last MCU anything I watched was the one where Grimace snapped his finger and killed everyone. That's a good place to stop imo.

it's the best marvel thing since the first avengers pretty much, loki season 1 is fucking excellent, and is 99% standalone, so you don't really need to have watched anything prior to get into it

it's great, seriously

i have not even heard anything about season 2 so...i don't know if that's a good or bad thing

Star Wars and Marvel are bringing in a lot of content that you can point at and clap if that's all you're looking for.

Loki is definitely among the more interesting Marvel projects right now, partly because it's just trying to stand on its own. It calls back to previous entries without trying to push or set up side content as much (despite the presence of Kang).
