Here he is saying something that didn't happen, actually happened. I feel like he's constantly doing things like this and nobody in the establishment media bats an eye or talks about it. He's clearly suffering from some sort of mental disorder here. This isn't an isolated incident either, he's made many incorrect claims for a while now. Remember him talking about needing an ID to purchase groceries?

He's clearly lost it, if he ever actually had it. Only someone who should be under psychiatric care would be constantly saying things that only someone in an alternate reality would believe.

Anyway, we should really refrain from "diagnosing" public figures with mental/neurological disorders on the basis of their tv appearances. It's not like you have any window into their health from it, and you're really just pushing bad stigma and stereotypes, usually.

Unless your name is Joe Biden. Then it seems to be perfectly acceptable for the media to speculate on supposed "disorders" he has and, in fact, it would be unprofessional for them to not bring it up.

Unlike a small subset of habitual pathological liars, Agent Orange knows full well he's telling said lies in public, so he doesn't appear "weak" and to keep his ego up high.

The difference is in what he's been lying about lately. Like when he was talking about how he beat Jeb Bush, yet ascribed George W. Bush's military history to Jeb and when he claims he beat Obama in past elections.

No it doesn't. Libel laws against a public figure are extremely difficult to prove and Trump is one of the most public figures alive.

And they wouldn't have to do anything different than talk like they do about Biden's age and "people worry he may not be all mentally there", which they have no problem spreading.

The difference of course being it's way more applicable to Trump.

I think I know more about height and weight than the former White House doctor who said Trump was 6'3 and weighed 230 lbs.

If it doesn't pass the eye test, it's likely a lie. Trump is mentally deficient. Whether it's his addictions, his health, or simply age, there's a huge problem happening with Trump's degrading brain. That may not be a problem to you, but it's up to the media to tell the public these facts and let them decide, not just refuse to report on it.
