He exists. And he's going to take my body after I die. Meaning that he'll be leaving whatever he uses behind to exist in my body.

Now, I could wait until I pass on... leaving behind an aged wreck of a body. Or I could leave now. And I'd be perfectly happy to do so, as long as I get to inhabit whatever he had before moving into my body.

It'd be a swap.

And since death is the moment when the body and "soul" (if you will) separate, I'd be fulfilling the conditions of this thread. Plus getting to experience a dimension beyond that of human comprehension.

Sure, I'll be dead so why should I care.

My only thing if like it's a monkey's paw situation and the entity immediately kills me after paying.

But if I get to live a natural life and death by no suspicious means, then go for it, Zarnax.

And it might even take better care of my body than myself.

Oh, I do. The problem is that you haven't thought about it until I forced you to with my response.

Incorporeal doesn't mean non-existent or non-distinct. And the term entity itself DOES imply separate and distinct.

Therefore, I'd take on it's incorporeal separateness and distinctness in it's dimension.

I'm saying yes to this, but stipulating a condition. That my incorporeal spirit (upon my death) be moved into it's existence in return for it receiving my form.

The original "The Twilight Zone" had an episode like this starring a young Roscoe P Coltraine from "The Dukes of Hazzard." He drowned and woke up in his casket during his funeral. Then it was a question of if he rose from the dead or if a haint had taken his body after he drowned, which his fiancee and mother both suspected.

The haint has the memories of the dead person so it can fool most people except the closest of loved ones. To protect its secret, the first thing it does is supernaturally curse the dead's loved ones to die from illness or accident so that they can't out it.

I remember a book I read with a similar plot like this except everyone that died on the planet immediately had their body high jacked by an entity like a jinn. And no these things was not good in any way. I wish I could remember the name cause it was a good read.
