Tardy.

Alright, since when!? Because Im positive I tried to use that word like 3-4 months ago and was prevented from doing so.

Edit: No, now I remember. I tried to say something was a ret@rdant, like fire-ret@rdant clothing. That is a valid use of the word, albeit a little archaic.

No you can also say fire retardant.

Your confusion is probably from some of these words not being allowed in a topic title. Like you can't use the word "whore" in a topic title

It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."

Okay now Im worried Im gaslighting myself. Id better drop this subject before I go crazy.

Censorship rules relaxed somewhat over the years. At one point, you'd get a warning for saying the word "Nazi" wasn't allowed and you got a warning about not comparing anyone to Hitler in any way. Now you can say both words.

Within reason. If you're going around accusing users of being Hitler, obviously a mods gonna smack you.

C word is still right out, to the possible dismay of Australian users.

the R word at one point was the politically correct word for the people with that issue and now people can't even say it because it's offensive

I feel like that's not really a good example, since that word started being used almost exclusively as an insult, at that point. It wasn't like people suddenly started finding it offensive out of nowhere.

Suicide, death, murder. All of them are terms people can't deal with now for whatever the fuck reason.

Or it's because they get auto moderated/filtered on several sites. That seems more likely.

My ex's mother committed suicide and its very hard for her to even hear the word almost 20 years later.

Not everywhere is a place to discuss suicide. Seriously, there are certain subjects that you don't just fling out everywhere you can.

Anyone circumventing this by using "unalived" lacks basic decency.

This is an example of why trigger warnings are an actual thing. Despite what assholes on the internet think it is.

Trigger warnings are absolutely a good thing. I never got why they made people so mad.
