I'm not getting anything done, but I keep finding random ass bosses

yes I agree, although it does run out eventually, and then you wonder how you're supposed to find anything that you missed

I got bored 1/4 the way through because it was too hard and I was sick of retrying.

It's one of those games that I respect as a great game but will never enjoy.

Melania was not as hard as the two knights guarding the Grace point

I remember when it came out people were praising it for not having a lot of repeat bosses and then I played it and fought the same tree troll a dozen times

Malenia was the only boss that made me swap weapons, and then double handed bleed absolutely trivialized her

It was just really funny cuz most the bosses are big hulking beats but Malenia can actually be knocked down very regularly... spent the entire first phase on the floor

More than any other FromSoft game, pretty much any boss can be either near impossible or trivial depending on your build setup

Yeah, this polarization always feels weird. And kind of unfair if you're stuck with a "bad" set up, due to how much effort is needed to switch builds.

As somebody who is absolutely not a Fromsoft fan, it's fun despite the core gameplay loop being standard Fromsoft jank. The environments and bosses are really fun to see and explore, there's just a lot to find. But is that worth 50+ hours of your time to experience, when you're going to be frustrated half the time? Eh

My first fromsoftware game and I had so much fun. Loved it so much.
