I know what hardcore means; but there tends to be exceptions when there's rez mechanics available. It's either limit them heavily or remove entirely

Hardcore is fundamentally a selfish mode, so allowing a rez window would lead to really large gank raids supported by an army of rez alts griefing the other faction relatively safely. It'd be pretty toxic to the mode's playability (not that I think WoW is particularly suited for the mode).

Even if they implemented restrictions like characters could be rezzed only once a day, that's simple enough to work around for an organized dedicated group.

i imagine dungeon runs do simply not happen outside of premades, and you would need a lot of faith from people to be their healer

i can see a pvp-mmo billing itself as hardcore even with temp rez if its designed around it but wow aint
