Im loving BG3 but those systems just feel dated, I dunno how Id want it but I want to se something different.

Shops dont feel like shops, just storage places that pays you hold your junk.

There is always too muc useless crap around the world its just tedious.

I dunno.

What games is it the same as? Ive felt wrpgs that ive played are quite diverse. Like, for example, oblivion is FAR different than shadow of mordor.

I prefer the JRPG style where you practically have infinite storage. You just have a list and a number next to it.

You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.

I suppose its meant to increase the interactivity. Not only can you pick up plot mcguffins and designated loot, but also bits and bobs.

I don't really notice it though. Eventually I just filter out the innocous shit and focus on the relevant items anyway

In general yes but FF4 is a terrible offender to this (48 item limit, includes consumables and equipment)

I like the skyrim style. Limited inventory based on strength/weight. So it can be expanded.

There is far too much useless stuff to loot and empty containers in some rpgs like BG3 and Starfield. I have a looting problem and basically went through all the containers in BG3 in act 1 on my first playthrough. By act 2 though, I basically just ignored almost everything besides chests. Like why are 99% of vases empty? why bother putting them all over the place and making them lootable?
