The law should really be changed around bullying. Make it closer to what would happen to you if you were out doing that same thing to a random person. There needs to be real consequences.

Oh, I have no doubt that there are plenty of teachers out there who do the right thing. That isnt a job a person would likely pursue unless theyre genuinely interested in the field of education and kids wellbeing. Its just unfortunate there are plenty of assholes (or just apathetic types) out there too.

Courage isnt the right word, absolutely not. But at risk of taking this topic in an uncomfortable direction suicide does take at least some strength. The strength to overcome survival instinct if nothing else.
