I absolutely could not solve yesterday's. Today I got it in 1:26, though.

They're released 4 hours earlier on the weekend. 6 pm Eastern on weekends, 10 on weekdays, although I think they might come out a little earlier some days.

Once there was a clue that was something like "Wordle opener for many" and it was not one of the ones I liked using, but I guess they have the analytics to back it up.

Today's was a toughie for me. I knew 3 of them right away, then it took me a minute to shift my thinking on one of them before they started to fall into place.

I specifically know "au pair" because the term popped up seemingly overnight sometime in the mid to late 90s in a fairly high profile murder case. I just now cared enough to look up what differentiates one from the word in the answer.

^"Lady Au Pair" was also a previous villain gimmick for Dr. Mrs. The Monarch in Venture Bros (its how she became associated with her demented henchmen, the Murderous Moppets)

Mind you, I learned the word well before that series but that is hands down its most memorable usage for me.
