I'm getting quite sick of chrome and brave seems to take up resources. The Samsung browser might as well be internet explorer.

so, any suggestions? I'd love a decent ad blocker built in. Chrome lately has been displaying web pages all funky too, like removing a bunch of text or garbling it until i refresh the page.

Thanks for helping me move to a decent browser

Firefox for Android lets you install plugins. At the moment, the list is more limited than Firefox for Windows, but Mozilla is supposed to be adding full support for all plugins before the end of the year.

Currently it supports uBlock Origin, AdNauseam, NoScript, Privacy Badger, Ghostery, Decentraleyes, and ClearURLs, among others.

Firefox on mobile used to suck ass for a long time, but they got their act together around 2014 and have been the best by far ever since.

They all use the same Chromium core, so it's just a matter of what UI you want. (or tracking)

The site became so much more bearable! Thank you! I added at least half of those extensions

I use Firefox specifically because I can add uBlock to it. Ads are miserable.
