I'm not going to totally "Won't bow, don't know how" it. If I was with someone who was keen on it, sure, but I have no strong feelings one way or the other.

Of course. I'm not so jaded that I don't want to get married. That's still a ways off though. I want my gf and I to live together for a while before I even think about popping the question

If I could just snap my fingers and be married to my partner right now I would do it.

I don't really want to go through all the hoops of a wedding. We are mostly on the same page about it.

I see no need to get married, but I'd be ok with it. If I ever would get married though, I want to keep it small-scale.

People who are really hung up on that can get married without a ceremony. For those already in a long-term relationship, there are significant practical advantages to marriage. It is a major driver in the struggle for marriage equality.

I almost got married twice, and I thank God it didn't happen. I'd be divorced, don't even want to think about it kids were involved.

It's not for everyone, but it is sweet when couples actually make it work. Just kinda hard not to be cynical.

Probably not. It's just to hard not to be cynical about it nowadays. And depending on your age and life's circumstances getting divorce raped can screw you over beyond recovery.

The woman I'm with now makes me think about marriage more than any other partner has. She actually has me daydreaming about it from time to time. For most of my life I'm been either against or ambivalent about the idea, but these days it feels like it could be something to look forward to

Honest reality is only if I see the actual life I want out of it. In that context and currently being single, that may allude to something unrealistic.

Everyone's different, I have no idea where each person decides to settle and compromise.

I can't outwardly judge them, I just don't want to be them - particularly the ones that bitch about their significant other regularly or visibly have an underwhelming lifestyle. I just don't believe I need something like that in my life just to no longer be single.

I'd still want to be a parent, though. Help a kid find a better life, and by effect also someone that will inherit whatever I collected from the work grind of life. I'd trust them with those assets more than my siblings or spouse.
