The problem is more weirdos on the internet who want to make a local dispute into a global story without knowing either of the people involved.

Why are people throwing money at situations like this? Tracking down who the people involved are to harass them? Why are people involving themselves from all over the world?

If those consequences are inevitable because people can't help themselves maybe viral videos of people fighting or having a meltdown aren't worth it.

But it's not gonna be like that. People don't actually care if lives are ruined from viral videos. They want the next controversy to move onto to do it all over again.

Question for you all:
Does she deserve punishment for the actions in the video?
If yes, what kind of punishment would be fitting?

The lady recording is a straight up bitch. She may have not been in the wrong in the initial situation, but the video and the way she conducted herself prevents me from feeling any sympathy for her.

But the glaring shitty thing she did to ruin this girl's life was uploading the video to her channel and I don't think anyone's addressed that part yet. I suppose it did work out in her favor thus far, considering how much money she got just to bring a lawsuit, because apparently it being a good case in of itself can't be enough for an attorney to take it. Still, the fact she did that makes me definitely not want to take her side - like I don't even care who was right or wrong in the initial interaction. She didn't suffer such an injury that she had to bring public humiliation on a girl that's very clearly having a mental breakdown.
