While I am not a furry, I would say that Lola is a Mid at best, there would be a lot better options out there.

So I'll try to break it down for you as best I can. Most people generally think of Jessica Rabbit as an insanely hot character. Way oversexualized with unrealistic proportions. But they're not just unrealistic, they're straight up impossible.

Her eye is literally larger than her mouth, and there's two of them. Her waist is so thin she wouldn't be able to properly balance her upper body at all. If you saw a real person that looked like that, they'd look like a deformed freak and you wouldn't find them attractive in the slightest.

But she's not real and that's what changes everything. We conceptualize images based on the context and the image we have in our head is slightly different as our imaginations fix abstractions to fill in the gaps where things are unknown or don't really make sense, but they keep the same associations as the abstract design.

There's an interview about how bugs bunny was designed somewhere and in it they say one of those things was the decision to have huge eyes. The rationale was that it was a cartoon for kids, and babies have big eyes relative to the size of their head. You'll see large eyes, and associate it with a baby face which is aesthetically pleasing / "cute." You stick the same abstract feature on a sexually charged Jessica Rabbit and aesthetically pleasing becomes "sexually attractive"

Animal features can evoke the same feelings. A bunny is cute. A bunny-themed leotard and bunny ears accessory is a sexual fetish statement from Playboy. And that extends to animal facial features as well.

So what about the rest of Lola? Well what are you really attracted to when you look at someone's body? You have a general idea about what a proper human skeletal structure should look like. If the proportions are weird, you correct it internally while understanding the abstract idea that "this is a woman with a large bust and a small waist" and skip over the fact that the proportions are impossible. Her fur is also abstract. Rarely animated or drawn at all, her "fur" is just a slightly different colored skin. Or at worst a latex / spandex bodysuit which is its own fetish. Had they drawn hyperrealistic fur on her, your opinion would likely not be the same as it was then.

And in the case of Lola Bunny specifically, she's obviously got her ears done like a human ponytail hairstyle.

So in conclusion, you've got a woman with all the expected geometrical proportions of an attractive adult, with some abstract facial features you associate with cute / pleasing things, and an exotic skin / fetish outfit.

That costume is horrifying.

I feel in Lola's case she transcents into more general appeal. I don't think any other character, like say that one bunny from zootopia, would've gotten the response Lola did over her redesign over social media.
